It sounds like you met the needs of your own church congregation and then things grew from that.

How did people make their needs known at the beginning?

Mark DeYmaz

When an individual comes into your service without shoes, he is need is evident. When people reek of alcohol on Sunday morning, they are crying out for help. In such ways, it was not so much them making thei rneeds known as it was their needs being evident to a congreagtion of believers with eyes and hearts trained to serve.

On the other hand, as word of mouth concerning our compassion spread among those in need within the community surrounding the church, it wasn;t long before people were coming to us at all times throughout the week explaining their situation and asking for help.

Thanks for the comment and question.
